I am a licensed Psychologist in Asheville, North Carolina. I conduct assessment, treatment & consultation aimed at promoting personal, professional and family growth through life's stages and challenges. The goal is to help one turn those challenges into opportunities for self-discovery and growth.

Therapeutic Alliance

Research on therapeutic outcomes clearly shows that forming a strong working alliance is essential to the effectiveness of therapy. I focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance as well as implementing empirically based treatment strategies. In addition to my therapy practice, I also conduct a variety of psychological evaluations.

My areas of expertise include working with adolescents and young adults who struggle with issues of depression, anxiety, trauma (PTSD), eating disorders, substance abuse, school, work or family problems.
